What is the UK Visa (Standard Visitor)?
This is the visa type that allows you to travel to the UK for up to 6 months for tourism, family visits, short-term study, or business meetings (fairs, conferences). This visa is not part of the Schengen area.
The UK visa process begins with an extremely detailed online application form (GOV.UK), which is entirely in English and queries your last 10 years, from your travel history to your financial situation.
